THANKSGIVING DAY RELIEF!

Down to the nubbins and blue,

If pay didn’t come–what to do?

Living check-to-check

We would have caught heck,

Money’s in the bank—YAHOO!!!!  😀

SIGH OF RELIEF

Payroll did come through,

They’ve paid up for vacation too…

Some things we lack

But we’re in the black,

Worth a loud YAHOO!!!

IF HE WERE CHASING REDHEADS…!

If he were a redhead girl chaser,

He’d have to be a wise pacer…

Anger a red

Maybe turn up dead,

Or feel rubbing of erasers!

Several enticing forms,

Go by his office most morns…

Enthusiastic through and through

He’d shout, “YAHOO!!!!”,

But they’d fill out harassment forms!

Oh yes, he wants her mind,

One to which he’d be kind…

Can she figure

Not just her figure,

To which he’s not blind.

He squashes the whole sad scheme,

Alas, he’s fulfilled his dream…

Can’t chase

He has his ace,

Sweeter than cherry ice cream!

INTERNET WARS I DISLIKE!

INTERNET WARS I DISLIKE!

(opinion)

Don’t know why I’ve lost connections

To my poetry feed…

Have tried to “re-up” more than twice,

I think I’ve a right to be “peed”.

But it doesn’t MATTER to the big boys

As they sling their words around…

The little folk (we) get smushed along the way

Whenever innuendo hits ground.

Everyone seems to be changing

And “community” gets pulled apart…

Keeping up with the big boys’ master plans

Takes more than a Master of Arts.

I guess I’ve got to go back and re-learn

How to make my Hotmail swing…

It’s the only place my poetry goes

Other than that, I can hardly do a thing!

RECENTLY PURCHASED

RECENTLY PURCHASED

Recently Yahoo bought

Tumblr in a battle well-fought…

The wags complained

Tumblr would be stained,

By Yahoo’s poor performance lot.

Then the C.E.O. of Yahoo

Claimed that she wouldn’t do…

Anything now

To alter this cash cow,

Until all considerations due.

Many social networks in play,

With only a few that’ll stay…

Can we trust Yahoo

To not do,

Whatever reportedly put them in disarray?
