A WELCOME HOME IN COMMON

A lighted Christmas tree,

Welcomes all including me…

Homeward from work

The tree is a perk,

Sparkling merrily!

It sits in our Common Room,

Near windows and the gloom…

Outside softens

By the tree’s comfort often,

A beacon on which I zoom!

Set up by the staff,

Residents help the task…

Lights, golden balls–

An angel atop all–

All that anyone could ask!
